There are many wonderful objects in the collection, many with their own stories. Many more items from the collection can be seen via our page on eHive or the NZ Museums web site.
Does anyone have any background on William Henry Beazley who married Elizabeth Faulkner, dau of John (Lees) Faulkner, in Tauranga in 1853. Did the CMS keep a record of marriages?, and are they accessible?
Where can i read that? there are 2 references to that supposed event. Firstly, the record of a voyage from England to Wellington, and secondly a voyage from England to Hokianga. Both records involving the same ship. I have read the references which purport to show subject info. I have read the accounts of the two voyages and i found no reference to William Henry Beazley at all. They are personal accounts of other people on the ship(s) and do not refer to anybody by that name. If his descendants cannot find the facts and are making this up , i do not think that this is credible Genealogy. Some of his descendants, and Professional researchers, would like the truth and not some fairytail myth.
